Norwegian Cruise Lines are pioneers of the Freestyle Cruise. Unlike traditional cruises of the past which came with set meal times, seating arrangements, and limited dining room options, Freestyle Cruising gives passengers the freedom to choose their experience both on board the ship and in port.

Dining Options: Pick the Time, Place and Dress Code

Norwegian’s freestyle dining options allow passengers to choose when they want to eat and where they want to eat. Instead of being subject to set dining times on the ship, the ability to choose the time in which to eat enables cruisers to plan their day accordingly- whether that means having a relaxing day poolside and grabbing a hamburger or barbequed meal from one of the pool eateries or having a formal sit down dinner at one of the fine dining restaurants on board the ship. Passengers do not need to cut their excursion short, or leave one of the many

The flexibility of dining at one’s leisure allows passengers to choose not only when to eat but also the location. Choosing from one of the Norwegian’s cruise ships’ many specialty restaurants can be a daunting- but delicious- task. From French, Chinese, and Italian to Tex-Mex, steakhouses, buffets, and fine dining rooms, Norwegian lets people choose the type of cuisine they prefer. All of Norwegian’s fleet has a number of restaurants both included in the cruise price and those which charge a cover fee ranging from $10 US per person to $25 US per person to dine there. The ships feature both family friendly dining options, room service, and 24 hour comfort food options.
