Butterfield and Robinson, the Toronto-based luxury tour operator famous for sumptuous luxury trips that include outdoor adventure, may have outdone themselves. They have created a 15-day Indochina “trip of a lifetime” for January 2009 (price: an eye-popping $52,500 per person) that’s already such a hit that it is almost sold out. However, 2010 dates will be announced soon.
Lavish Asian Adventure
Designed “to appeal to those who have never travelled to the region and want to see the highlights,” according to a press release, or to those who have been on B&R Asian adventures and are eager to return, the trip is packed with amazing sights and destinations."Spending more than a few days in a region is so important to understanding the place and getting a feel for the culture," said B&R President Benson Cowan.
